Pump Spray Bottles from The Sugar Art for DiamonDusts
Fill these empty pump bottles with sparkly DiamonDust to add that shine to your baked treats!
Fill a spray pump bottle with DRY DiamonDust (available separately in my shop).
It's best if you can have one pump bottle per color of DD. Keep half in the original container for sprinkling, and half in the pump bottle for spraying.
TIP: How to get the dust neatly into the pump? Use a large sized piping tip as a funnel!
In order for DiamonDust to adhere well, the surface needs to be slightly moist.
COOKIES: Spray dry DiamonDust onto royal icing that has started to crust over - not fully wet but not fully dry.
CHOCOLATE: Spray mold before filling with chocolate. OR Slightly melt set chocolate with hot air gun or torch, then spray with DiamonDust.
MACARONS: Spray DiamonDust onto macarons BEFORE baking.
CAKES: Spray DiamonDust onto fresh buttercream, fondant, gumpaste.
STENCILS: Place stencil on your cookie, cake, etc....Spray DiamonDust right over the stencil to make just those open areas shine!
