Sugar Dot Cookies began in 2013 with custom cookie orders and has since grown to include decorating classes and cookie parties. In 2018, Dotty began teaching a series of online classes and providing business ebooks – Cookies as Business, which cover everything from finding a commercial kitchen and taking orders efficiently, to pricing and shipping cookies. Dotty loves sharing her years of experience and encouraging those just getting started in their own cookie businesses. Though I'm now spending much of my time teaching, I'm still decorating cookies for your most special occasions! I bake and decorate every cookie by hand in Frederick, MD.

My cookies are made with fresh, quality ingredients to order. They're lightly sweetened and have a wonderful buttery vanilla flavor.

The cookies are covered in vanilla royal icing. My icing isn't as crunchy as traditional royal icing. It has a softer, fabulous texture. My cookies taste as good as they look!

Everyone that sees my cookies in person has the nicest things to say about the designs. What always surprises me is that they're very often surprised that the cookies taste so good! I've been told (more than once) that these are the best sugar cookies one has ever tasted!

Creating gorgeous, fun cookie designs for your special occasion or loved one is important to me, but if they're not equally fabulous to eat, there's just no point. Rest assured that my cookies are meant to be eaten or better yet - devoured. Please enjoy the designs, then dig in!
