Truly Mad Plastics Tipless Piping Bags - 100 count
Tipless piping bags are the ONLY way to go. I started using them years ago and never looked back to using thicker bags, couplers, tips, bottles, etc.
Bags are made by Truly Mad Plastics and are of great quality. Size Small. Approximately: 7" x 10".
These bags are thin (in a great way), so very easy on the hand and wrist.
There is no clean up with these bags. When finished with the decorating job, just roll up the cut end, tape, and put in the freezer for later use. No wasted icing.
These bags are pennies each, so no worries when throwing them away.
These bags have the smallest seam running down them. That's what makes them "tipless". That seam doesn't get in the way, so you don't NEED a piping tip. I never use a tip to flood. Fill the bag, then just cut a small hole straight across the bottom.
You don't NEED a piping tip for outlining, details, and writing but you might WANT one. Some people have good control and prefer no tip. I prefer to use a PME 1.5 tip with these bags for all small work. No coupler needed. Just cut a larger hole across the bag, drop in the tip, squeeze the bag gently to stretch the plastic around the tip, securing it tightly then fill with icing.
